These Yoga workshops are launched the first Sunday of every month to keep us on track together as a community and to set our intentions as we move into each new month cycle. The recording of the workshop is included for you to come back to any time during the month.
We will begin with stillness and breathing and then take 5-10 minutes for some journalling. The prompts will have a different focus each month depending on the season and will adapt to the every-changing energy around us.
The rest of the workshop will hold space for you to move. Each month the sequence is designed to tap into your inner peace and power - to awaken the yin and yang within you and invite it back into balance.
“September Gentleness”
As we move towards the end of summer, there is a big change ahead of us. This workshop will invite you to practise gentleness with yourself. You will learn how to use gentleness to let go of any pressure you may be putting on yourself. This may be a moment to release the heat of the summer and surrender to the change of season, allowing it to flow in. Through different shapes and asanas we will play with being strong and gentle at once. There will be opportunity to thread your own personal focus throughout as I guide us.
I recommend to set up a sacred space for yourself and to have a 20-30 min walk before if you can.
All levels welcome, suitable for beginners.
